Kalacha Beach
Situated to the south of Querim beach, it is one of the most picturesque beaches in Goa and is also known as Sweet Water Lake Beach. The view is well worth of all efforts taken to reach here. A freshwater lake surrounded by hills on three sides and sea on the fourth side. It has a perfect backdrop of lush green forest exit. There are some nice beach shacks, where one can get mouth-watering seafood.
How to reach: Kalacha beach is connected to Panjim beach via Mapusa to Arambol beach. From Arambol beach, one can take a bus to Kalacha or take a narrow seaside rocky path from Arambol beach and carefully descend the rocks to get there.
Kakolem Beach
Kakolem beach is one of the raw beaches of South Goa, very secluded and natural and also known as Tiger Beach. This beach is practically unheard of amongst the popular ones and is one of the least crowded beaches and is an astonishing spot for all adventure lovers.
How to reach: Located at a distance of 60 km from Panjim, Kakolem is in a remote area and one needs to have a private vehicle to reach here since there are no buses. One can also opt for an auto or a taxi from Margao.
Siridao Beach
This beach is famed as the “Shell Collectors’ Beach” and is one of the most mesmerizing beaches in Goa. One can find unique shells here along with a wide range of oysters and pearls. The Siridao beach is a rocky and sandy beach where you can see some mysterious caves as well. The Chapel of Jesus of Nazareth is another tourist attraction at the hill top of this beach.
How to reach: This beach is approximately 9 km from Panjim, and one can hire an auto or a taxi to reach the beach.
Sinquerim Beach
Sinquerim beach in the Bardez district of North Goa, boasts of an amazing shoreline with and extent of sand. The Sinquerim beach is one of the few beaches in north Goa where you can rent wind surfers, water skis, para-sailing, scuba diving and host of other water sports activities.
How to reach: It is located at a mere distance of 14 km from Panjim and there are frequent buses from there. One can also opt for private mode of transport.
Cola Beach
Cola beach is an ideal escape for every tourist if you’re looking to get away from the crowded beaches. It is about 10 km from Agonda beach and hosts an exotic lagoon encircled by huts. It is also known as Khola beach and is a lesser known beach even amongst the locals.
How to reach: One can hire a cab or a taxi from Panjim to reach here or you can also your private vehicle.
Vanguinim Beach
Vanguinim beach is known for its silver sand and crystal clear greenish blue waters and best for tourist who seeks isolation. The picturesque beach is very neat and tidy and is excellent for spending a pleasant vacation. The greenish blue water and the white sands is the perfect combination to attract tourists. Its tranquil nature has been a boon to tourists seeking solitude.
How to reach: Just 10 km from Panjim, one can reach this beach by private transport.
